About

Much of my work is based around the joy that comes from seasonality. Forced rhubarb in the darkness of winter, roasted Scottish strawberries in summer + edible flowers and homegrown produce wherever possible. I see the seasonal pages of my portfolio as an informal way of documenting how I celebrate the seasons and their joyful produce. 

 

Nostalgia and playfulness are also very important to me, food should bring us joy and make us smile! I am deeply inspired by colour and the sensory elements of both eating and tasting.

For me, being in the kitchen is a way to share my favourite things with other people. I believe food should teach us, inspire us and bring us together and I hope that the things I create reflect these principles.
